NOTE TO PURCHASE OF GOOD FAITH: All canines have the potential for genetic and/or congenital disease. Unfortunately, due to the nature of some diseases, they cannot always be eliminated. It is the job of the Breeder to try to minimize (not eliminate) these conditions in good faith by utilizing a selective breeding program. Please read and initial, to your full understanding, the following sections in this Health Guarantee and Purchase Agreement concerning any hereditary or contagious diseases.

 

Great Basin Miniature Schnauzers shall hereinafter be referred to as the “Breeder”. The original purchasing party and SOLELY the original purchasing party shall hereinafter be referred to as the “Purchaser”.

 

1. Payment Terms: A $200.00 deposit is required to hold the puppy. The deposit will hold the puppy until it is ready to go to its new home which is determined by the Breeder. The remaining balance of $1300.00 must be paid in full prior to the Purchaser taking ownership of the puppy. Payment will be in cash or PayPal. If full payment is not received 14 days after the puppy’s 8 week birth date, the puppy will be offered to other parties. There are no refunds of deposits unless the puppy is unfit for sale. _____

2. This puppy is sold with no known health or genetic defects. The Breeder certifies that, upon receipt, the puppy is in good health and has been immunized and dewormed per the accompanying health record of said puppy._____

3. Any condition that is minor, correctable, or a breed related minor condition is not covered. Any condition which could go away or is considered a condition which a puppy will likely grow out of is not covered._____

4. Demyelinating Polyneuropathy (SBF2/MTRM13), - Myotonia Congenita (CLCN1 Exon 7, Miniature Schnauzer Variant), and Persistent Mullerian Duct Syndrome, PMDS (AMHR2) are the three breed relevant conditions that are covered for two years from date of birth of said puppy. This Health Guarantee does not cover any of the following conditions: Intestinal Parasites (Coccidiosis, Giardia, Worms), Kennel Cough, Pneumonia, Ear or Skin Mites, Mange (Demodectic, Sarcoptic, or Cheyletiella), Cherry Eye, Allergies (food or skin), Herniation (Inguinal, Perineal, or Diaphragmatic), Entropion, Undecended Testes, Luxated Patellas. This Health Guarantee does not cover any veterinarian costs associated with spaying or neutering, including undecended testes or any elective surgeries. Breeder does not Health Guarantee against illnesses common to puppies._____

5. The Breeder will extend this guarantee an additional year (3-year Health Guarantee) if the Purchaser keeps the puppy on NuVet Plus supplements at the manufacturers recommended dosage for the entire guarantee period._____

 

The Purchaser acknowledges that he or she has read, understands, and agrees to the terms of this Health Guarantee and Sales Agreement._____
